Client Experience Specialist

The Client Experience Specialist will provide services and support to drive the overall success of Cordial’s current and future customers across the entire customer lifecycle. This includes participation in pre-sales discovery conversations with prospective clients, leading new Cordial clients through their on-boarding and implementation process, providing tactical advice and support services and development of best practices thought capital. A successful Client Experience Specialist is characterized most by their relentless enthusiasm to create and maintain happy, satisfied and loyal Cordial customers.

At Cordial you will :

  • Provide Cordial’s clients with an exceptional services experience
  • Build and maintain a deep working knowledge of the Cordial platform including its APIs
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training, on-boarding and support materials
  • Own and drive client implementations and on-boarding experiences
  • Provide ongoing tactical assistance to clients regarding product features and feature adoption
  • Research and respond to customer support inquiries as part of Cordial’s Customer Support Team
  • Participate in business development and discovery meetings with prospective clients

To be successful you will need:

  • 5+ years working in a client facing or customer services role in digital marketing, preferably in the enterprise marketing automation industry
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with email marketing and email marketing technologies, including personalization and optimization solutions, and advanced marketing automation
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, specifically in a business setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical & non-technical audiences

Enterprise Sales Manager (West Coast)

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Cordial is looking for a savvy, well connected Enterprise sales professional with deep experience in the email marketing, ecommerce platform or mobile messaging to expand our growth in the West. The perfect candidate will have been a repeated top performer in their region, be an excellent communicator both written and verbal (yes… words matter….), have sold technical products, run their own demos and have been successful in previous roles breaking into a territory with limited brand exposure. If you are ready to disrupt a legacy industry, compete head to head with enterprise cloud platforms and be part of next generation innovations in email, mobile and connected products, you should reach out. We have a deep pedigree in Enterprise email, data management and CRM technology, but early enough for this role to have a big impact on our growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Cordial seeks a talented Front-end Engineer to join our team. You would be an early hire in a fast growing startup and would have significant influence over how we structure portions of our user interface. Being a well-rounded engineer who specializes in front-end work, you design and implement software that is optimized and respectful of backend services. You are a self-motivated expert who is easy to work with, fails quickly and learns from mistakes.

  • Collaborate with backend engineering to agree on RESTful interfaces
  • Design and build on existing Backbone/Marionette application
  • Design and build new interfaces from the ground up
  • Work with UX team to make visual design decisions

Senior Application Architect - PHP

You will determine the best approach for solving some key problems around messaging and analytics. A broad knowledge of available technologies from MongoDB to Docker will assist in finding a solution that will perform at scale. You will use PHP to efficiently move data and communicate with the front-end application, as well as power the backend processes that analyze and act on data.

Sales Engineer

A successful Sales Engineer requires total buy-in and confidence from both the marketing & technical buyer personas on the side of the prospective client. The job of the sales engineer is to interface with the prospective CTO and engineering stakeholders during the sales cycle. The SE will collaborate with a Sales Associate in a highly dynamic engagement involving learning, hypothesis, technical demonstration and prescribing the perfect solution for highly complex problems presented by the client. The SE is a critical contributor to drive new sales revenue.

  • Engage directly with prospects at the optimum time in the sales cycle
  • Gather requirements, use cases, business challenges from the prospect
  • Articulate how the product technically solves specific customer problems in writing, and verbally

Junior Marketing Intern

Seeking bright, enthusiastic recent college graduate or someone with a passion for digital marketing. This role is a bit unorthodox but a great learning experience for someone local to San Diego that wants to learn from some of the best in the industry. Looking to groom someone that is web savvy, loves marketing, striving to find themselves and how their unique personalities can be used in a variety of marketing functions. You will be assisting our Chief Strategy and Marketing officer and be their right-hand person.

For this role we only have a few requirements:

  • You must be web savvy.. Know how people buy, browse, shop and interact with email, social media, search.
  • You must be a device switcher (work on laptop, mobile, tablet)
  • Must have some formal background in marketing. We’ll throw most of what you learned out, but it helps to at least talk the same language
  • You must be FAST. Learn fast, work fast, adapt fast, not afraid of failure.. Pace is critical
  • You must be somewhat of an entrepreneurial spirit. Have ideas, have passion, and willing to try new things.
  • You must have made good grades in school. If you didn’t have the discipline to make the grades, you likely won’t have the discipline to be a good marketer.

Product Marketing Associate/Manager

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
The Product Marketing Associate/Manager will work collaboratively with the Director of Marketing, product managers and sales organization on product positioning and promotion, sales enablement, market & competitive analysis, and analyst relationships. You’ll work closely with the marketing and product organization to drive demand across the sales pipeline from general market awareness to negotiation and client marketing. Your ability to understand the Cordial buyer to translate technical product capabilities into customer benefits will be crucial to the success of Cordial.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Product Positioning & Promotion: Work with sales enablement, channel and content marketing teams to support product launches and ongoing promotions. Measure and optimize the buyer journey identifying key metrics like product feature adoption and usage.
  • Sales Enablement: Identify product differentiation and messaging for use in materials and internal resources for sales and customer success teams to secure news deals, renewals, and up-sells.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Be the voice of the customer explaining their needs, how and why they buy, and how Cordial meets their needs better than the competition
  • Analyst Relationships: Use market & competitive analysis understanding to shape relationships with analyst covering the field keeping a pulse on how industry is evolving and making sure Appboy remains top-of-mind and addressing needs.

REQUIREMENTS
